Job summary

Bright Prospect in Malaysia seeks an experienced AI Engineer to design and deliver AI-powered solutions, including chatbots and agents, across business units. You will develop workflows, integrate systems via APIs, and optimize search and retrieval using vector databases and LLMs.

The role requires hands-on work with ML models (ARIMA, LSTM, Prophet, etc.), MLOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong problem-solving and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AI, automation, system integration, or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AI/ML development tools.
• Experience with AI agents, chatbots, LLMs, RAG, and AI-powered search engines.
• Experience with cybersecurity, data analytics, and dashboarding tools.
• Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, knowledge retrieval systems, and API integration.
• Knowledge of machine learning models such as ARIMA, LSTM, Prophet, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and K-Means.
• Familiarity with MLOps and Linux/Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency in business system such as ERP, POS, CRM and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered solutions, including AI assistants, chatbots, AI agents, and LLM applications.
• Research and implement AI technologies to improve business processes and productivity.
• Develop workflow automation and integrate business systems through APIs and automation tools.
• Build and optimize AI-powered search engines, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases and LLMs.
• Manage and optimize data flow, reporting, dashboards, and analytics for business decision-making.
• Deploy and maintain machine learning models and AI solutions following MLOps best practices.
• Support server, infrastructure, cybersecurity, backup, and system monitoring activities.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into daily business operations and improve efficiency.
