Job summary

forestown in Malaysia is seeking a senior pre-sales engineer to own the full technical pre-sales workflow for AI energy-saving and digital solutions. You will lead site surveys, energy analyses, cost estimation, and solution planning while preparing BOQ pricing and technical deviation responses.

You will support sales with product demos, POC, and technical seminars, addressing needs across power distribution, cooling, energy storage, and energy management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM (Building Environment & Energy Engineering, HVAC, Electrical Automation, Power Engineering or related).
• 5+ years of relevant experience; 3+ years for Master's; industrial plant HVAC/FMCS project experience preferred.
• Familiar with FMCS, EMS and BA/BMS architectures; know Modbus, BACnet, OPC-UA; AI energy-saving and digital twin experience a plus.
• Fluent business English & Chinese, able to lead bilingual technical meetings and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full pre-sales technical workflow including site surveys, requirement discovery, energy analysis, and cost estimation.
• Support sales with product demos, POC, and technical seminars; address customer needs in power distribution, cooling, energy storage, and energy management.
• Build technical capability for overseas distributors and SI partners; organize training and materials; participate in overseas exhibitions and forums.
• Collaborate with delivery, HQ product/R&D teams to ensure deliverability and provide technical support across the project lifecycle.
