Job summary

• Strong exposure to recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR operations.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment practices.
• Able to work independently in a lean or sole-contributor HR environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using AI and digital tools to improve productivity.
• High level of ownership, integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-spectrum HR including recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance, employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits and offboarding.
• Partner with Management and HODs on manpower planning, people issues and performance matters.
• Drive recruitment and build talent pipelines for key and recurring roles.
• Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters, counselling and PIP processes with proper documentation and follow-through.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation, statutory requirements and Company policies.
• Maintain accurate HR records, policies, SOPs, employee documentation and HR trackers.
• Coordinate training, employee engagement and development initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports and dashboards covering headcount, turnover, recruitment, attendance and performance.
• Leverage AI and digital tools for recruitment, HR reporting, communication, documentation, data analysis and workflow improvement.
• Continuously improve and simplify HR processes to build a more efficient and effective HR function.
