Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Manager for the Customer Experience Centre (CXC) in Kuala Lumpur.

You will lead global IT delivery projects, apply AI-assisted methods, and partner with executive stakeholders to ensure timely, value-driven outcomes across regions. Applicants should have 9–15 years of PM experience in IT, strong PM tool proficiency, and PMP/PgMP or equivalent certifications; Japanese and English language skills are required, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (BE/B.Tech or equivalent).
• 9-15 years of overall PM experience in IT with 6+ years dedicated to project management.
• Proven experience managing global, customer-facing projects in complex organizations.
• Proficiency with PM tools including MS Project Plan, Excel, JIRA and Confluence.
• PM Certification such as PgMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, SCRUM; PMP/PgMP preferred.
• Japanese language proficiency and English proficiency required for global collaboration.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required by project scope.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex, high-stakes projects and programs across multiple accounts.
• Manage large and complex infrastructure projects within an account or group of accounts.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve delivery challenges and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Develop proposals and finalize agreements with customers and internal teams.
• Leverage AI assistants to automate routine PM tasks and provide real-time insights.
• Use the Digitized Delivery platform and AI-driven analytics to manage lifecycles and mitigate risks.
• Influence customers in assessment, planning, and management of related projects.
• Define and institutionalize next-generation PMO methodologies under Cisco's framework.
