Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking an Operations Technical Lead in Malaysia to drive content operations and data workflows. You will partner with Editorial, Product, Engineering, and Operations to manage content conversion, troubleshoot data and workflow issues, and lead user acceptance testing while driving continuous quality improvements across digital and print platforms.

You will contribute to automation and AI-enabled initiatives that enhance content operations, scalability, and customer experience,

Qualifications

2 to 3 years of experience in content operations, digital publishing, technical operations, project management or related field.
Hands-on experience with XML, XSD, and markup troubleshooting; familiarity with XSLT/XPath.
Experience monitoring content data flows and resolving production issues.
Strong systems thinking and troubleshooting skills.
High attention to detail and quality mindset.
Proven cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Experience in automation and AI-enabled workflows.
Strong documentation skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira is a plus.

Responsibilities

Content Operations & Conversion: Build and maintain content sources; end-to-end conversion troubleshooting; analyze input data for proper conversion and metadata accuracy; resolve XML markup and structural issues; ensure outputs align with product requirements.
User Acceptance Testing & Quality: Create and execute UAT plans; validate functional and non-functional requirements; track defects in Azure DevOps/Jira; maintain QA checklists and acceptance criteria; reduce defect escape rates.
Data Flow Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Monitor content data pipelines; diagnose and remediate data and integration issues; drive cross-functional alignment; address customer-facing concerns.
Tooling, Automation & Modernization: Identify automation and AI-enabled workflow improvements; contribute to modernization; support improvements to conversion frameworks and workflows.
Documentation, Standards & Collaboration: Maintain documentation and governance; communicate risks and decisions; collaborate with Editorial, Product, Engineering, IT, vendors and offshore teams to resolve blockers.
