Job summary

Great Eastern is seeking a Business Development professional in Malaysia to drive agency momentum, organise events, and deliver product training to our agency network. You will identify agency needs, build strong relationships, and collaborate to achieve production targets and recruitment goals.

The role requires a recognised business-related degree and 3+ years in Life Insurance agency development; banking sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Recognised degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, International Business, Finance, Investment, Economics or related studies.
Preferably with at least 3 years of Business Development experience in Life Insurance agency channel. Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Banking sales experience welcomed.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills for fast rapport with agencies.

Responsibilities

Optimise agency sales momentum by supporting assigned agencies to hit production targets and recruitment goals.
Organise high impact events and activities virtually or physically to boost recruitment momentum among agencies.
Plan and execute product-based training programs for agencies to raise awareness of new products.
Monitor agency performance and build rapport to drive production.
Identify challenges faced by agencies and provide required support to achieve results.
Organise ad-hoc events to boost agency performance and production.
Other responsibilities as required.
