Job summary

Wayon Energy is seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead on-site delivery for Power Container and Liquid Cooling Pipeline projects across Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region.

You will coordinate installation, commissioning, testing and handover while ensuring safety, quality, and strong customer relationships. The role requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or Energy Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of field delivery, commissioning, or project execution experience.
• Hands-on installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and acceptance of electrical or mechanical systems.
• Experience managing site teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery and execution of Power Container and Liquid Cooling projects.
• Coordinate site installation, wiring, commissioning, testing, and acceptance.
• Manage field engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as primary on-site interface with customers and stakeholders.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and project teams.
• Supervise commissioning, FAT/SAT, punch list, and handover activities.
• Ensure site activities comply with HSE policies and quality standards.
• Prepare commissioning reports, acceptance records, and delivery summaries.
• Support warranty services and continuous improvement of field delivery processes.
• Travel to customer sites within Malaysia and overseas as required.

As our global business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead on-site delivery activities for our Power Container and Liquid Cooling Pipeline projects across Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site delivery and execution of Power Container and Liquid Cooling Pipeline projects, ensuring compliance with project schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate site installation, equipment integration, piping works, electrical connections, system commissioning, testing, and final acceptance.
• Manage field service engineers, subcontractors, and local installation teams to ensure efficient project execution and successful delivery.
• Act as the primary on-site interface with customers, providing timely communication, resolving technical and project issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise commissioning, SAT (Site Acceptance Test), troubleshooting, punch list clearance, and project handover activities.
• Ensure all site activities comply with HSE policies, local regulations, and company quality standards.
• Prepare project documentation, including commissioning reports, acceptance records, service reports, and delivery summaries.
• Support warranty services, technical issue resolution, and continuous improvement of field delivery processes.
• Travel to customer sites within Malaysia and overseas as required to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field delivery, commissioning, after-sales service, site management, or project execution within the power, energy, data center, or industrial equipment sectors.
• Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and acceptance of electrical or mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with products such as power distribution equipment, transformers, switchgear, modular power systems, cooling systems, liquid cooling solutions, or data center infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders in a project environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia and internationally.
• Fluency in English is required. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering data center, AI infrastructure, energy storage, or modular electrical equipment projects.
• Knowledge of commissioning procedures, FAT/SAT processes, and project acceptance standards.
• PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
