Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a global supplier and stocking distributor of specialized non-ferrous metals and aerospace alloys. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profit by developing and negotiating new and repeat business with customers in Aerospace, Defense and High-Performance metals.

Based in Shah Alam, you will work permanent, Mon-Fri, leveraging CRM data, building relationships and expanding market share with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any field with export sales experience in Aerospace metals.
• Minimum 5–6 years in a similar product/industry.
• Excellent communication and people development skills.
• Experience building relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of the product, market and industry.
• Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Generate gross profit by developing, negotiating and administering new and repeat business with aerospace, defense and high-performance metals customers.
• Identify new and existing customers with high demand and drive a tactical approach to maximize potential.
• Investigate customer complaints with Account Manager to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with Account Managers to ensure stock is managed at pre-agreed levels.
• Maintain regular calls and visits to develop relationships and uncover new leads.
• Update and maintain customer activity records in the CRM system.
