Advanced Security Management Manager - APAC

This role is to leads an organization's high-level security strategy, oversees enterprise risk, and protects physical and digital assets across multiple sites.

Setting Strategy:

Build long-term security plans that match business goals.

Managing Risk:

Spot major threats and lower enterprise risk.

Designing Policies:

Create rules for physical safety, data protection, and emergency response.

Leading Teams:

Guide regional security managers and response units.

Handling Crises:

Direct operations during major security breaches or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

System Standardization:

Drive lifecycle management, global rollout, and architecture for platforms like CCTV, intrusion alarms, and digital access control.

Operational Risk Management:

Safeguard intellectual property, sensitive manufacturing data, and physical inventory while enforcing safety and environmental regulations (5S, ISO standards).

Incident Response & Compliance:

Lead emergency response protocols, coordinate vendor deliverables, and align facility security with international frameworks like TAPA or ISO 27001.

Budget & CAPEX Planning:

Manage multi-year technology budgeting, vendor contracts, and standard operating procedures for control room monitoring.

Responsible to protect company's properties, products and the safety of employees.

Document and store information, activities, and event in a log and /or report.

Perform routine patrols of the company’s facilities and grounds to assist in deterring criminal behavior as well as make Security’s presence known.

Lead an emergency handling team work

Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Business, Security, Information Management with at least 15 - 20 years experience in Industrial Security.

Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on expertise with IP video surveillance, biometric access systems, and basic industrial OT (Operational Technology) or PLC security.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with local Malaysian statutory requirements, OSHA, and global supply chain security guidelines.

Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Knowledge in basic fire fighting, first-aid and computer will be an added advantage.

Experience in lead, mentor, and deploy a team of high-performing security professionals to ensure facility safety and asset protection
