Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Security Manager to plan, implement, and oversee security operations protecting assets, employees, clients, and premises.
The role covers policy development, risk assessments, and coordinating with vendors and law enforcement to maintain tight security measures at our Pulau Indah plant in Selangor. Strong leadership and 5+ years in security are required, with Saturday work and ex-police background preferred.
The Security Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all security operations to protect company assets, employees, clients, and premises.
Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols
Oversee day-to-day security operations at Plant located in Pulau Indah, Selangor.
Manage and supervise security personnel, including scheduling & training
Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and incident investigations
Coordinate with external security vendors, law enforcement, and emergency services
Ensure proper functioning of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.) with instruction from HOD
Handle security incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations professionally and discreetly
Prepare security reports, incident logs, and management updates
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company standards
Promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and professionalism within the organization
Collaborate with internal departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
5+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations.
Willing to work on Saturday
