Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support its Staffing Operations team in Malaysia. The role centers on data management, reporting, analysis, and cross-team coordination, with a strong emphasis on Excel proficiency and handling large datasets.

The ideal candidate will produce accurate reports independently, build dashboards, and contribute to automating manual reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
• 1–2 years in reporting, data analytics, operations, or a similar role.
• Excel skills: XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and nested formulas.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Experience with Power BI, VBA, or reporting automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze staffing data using advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare regular management reports, dashboards, and data trackers.
• Use advanced Excel formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query to analyze and consolidate data.
• Analyze workforce utilization, billability, capacity, and leave trends.
• Reconcile timesheet and staffing data with Finance to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain weekly MIS reports and ensure data consistency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual reporting processes.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests from internal teams.
