AFS Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Johor, seeks an Administration Manager to be the operational backbone, overseeing day-to-day office operations, HR, and facility management to keep the business running smoothly. You will direct payroll, compliance with EPF/SOCSO, manage recruitment and onboarding, handle immigration for expatriates, and coordinate with finance and tax teams to ensure timely filings.

The Administration Manager is the operational backbone of the company, ensuring our day-to-day business, HR, and facility operations run smoothly and efficiently. The position will oversee office management, financial coordination, policy enforcement, and employee welfare.
Plan, lead, and direct daily office and administrative operations to ensure business continuity and efficiency
Act as a trusted operational partner to directors and senior leadership—providing high-level administrative support, managing confidential executive matters, and keeping key business initiatives moving forward
Manage the full HR spectrum, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, leave management, training and staff welfare
Oversee monthly payroll administration, EPF/SOCSO/PCB submissions, and statutory compliance
Handle expat and foreign worker immigration matters, work permits, and visa applications with relevant government departments
Coordinate closely with finance team, external auditors, and tax agents to keep monthly accounts on track and ensure all annual financial and tax filings are submitted accurately and on time
Monitor administrative expenditure, department budgets, and expense reimbursements
Oversee import and export documentation, shipping clearances, and freight logistics coordination to ensure smooth, compliant cargo movements
Manage and maintain government duty exemptions, trade licenses, local council permits, and ministry compliance applications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 8–10+ years of solid experience in office management, supply chain, and HR with strong working knowledge of Malaysian Labour laws (Employment Act), EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory regulations, along with practical understanding of local council and government agency compliance
Familiarity with Malaysian import/export clearance workflows and government duty exemption schemes with prior experience managing LMW compliance and customs reporting is highly desirable
Multi-tasker with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and exercise high confidentiality
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken)
Salary will commensurate with experience
