Job summary

Malaysia Airports Berhad is seeking an Admin/Operations Assistant to support duty operations across airside, terminal and landside areas. The role focuses on administrative tasks, regulatory compliance and smooth operations to ensure safe aircraft movement and passenger flow.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, able to work independently, and have computer literacy with SAP knowledge. 1 year of relevant experience is preferable.

Qualifications

MCE or SPM or equivalent with Bahasa Credit and passes in English and Mathematics
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with good written and verbal communication
Computer literacy is required; SAP knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

AIRSIDE duties include inspection of runways, taxiways and aprons to ensure safe aircraft movement
TERMINAL duties cover cleanliness, facility operation and prompt payment processing
LANDSIDE duties cover grounds, access roads, curbside areas and cooperation with contractors

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To assist DO on the overall operation administration including terminal, landside and airside pertaining to regulation , compliance and any related to procedures

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTION

AIRSIDE

To perform regular inspection on runway, taxiway and apron at least 3 times daily to ensure smooth and safe operations of aircraft movement
To report any irregularities and defects on surface, AGL and other facilities to the relevant units immediately
To ensure no obstruction to aircraft and vehicle movement on the movement area
To ensure markings, signs and other related facilities are visible and in good conditions at all times
To ensure surface are clean and clear from FOD for the safe operations of aircraft movement
To ensure runway sweepers are serviceable at all times so that cleaning of surfaces can be carried out when needed
To report any incident/accident to Head of Operations immediately
To carry out any directives given by airport higher authority.

TERMINAL

To ensure highest standards of cleanliness in the terminal building and ensure cleaning contractor follows the contract
To ensure all facilities/equipment are operational at all times
To ensure all charges are paid promptly
To ensure all directives being carried out and obeyed for the smooth running of terminal operations
To receive payment on all security charges example airport passes, escort charge and vehicle/driving permit
To carry out survey for airport efficiency evaluation
To report any incident/accident to Head of Operations immediately
To carry out any directives given by airport higher authority.

LANDSIDE

To ensure all Landside area (including Airport Access Road) /equipment are operational at all times
To ensure all directives being carried out and obeyed for the smooth running of landside operations
To monitor landscaping contractor’s performance in relation to landside area,
To inspect and enforce cleanliness and orderliness at curbside area
To inspect and ensure markings, signs and other related facilities are visible and functional at all times.
Ensure all facilities/equipment are operational at all times
Ensure all directives being carried out and obeyed for the smooth running of terminal operations
Report any incident/accident to Head of Operations immediately i.e system failure, facilities failure
Responsible for ensuring that passengers are always in a state of comfortable and safe
