Job summary

Emerson in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on assembler to join our production team. You will assemble actuators and spare kits, perform testing across product models, and ensure outputs meet daily requirements with quality and efficiency.

You will also handle component picking, labeling, and packing, maintain a 5S compliant workspace, and collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Shipping to meet production goals. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in mechanical assembly, equipment repair, or related manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and tools.
• Ability to follow assembly instructions and technical manuals.
• Read, write, and communicate in Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Willingness to work shifts or overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble actuators and spare kits according to drawings, specs, work instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Perform assembly and testing across different product models to meet daily production output and customer requirements.
• Perform component picking, material staging, labeling, and packing to support smooth production flow.
• Ensure all work meets Emerson quality standards and identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace in accordance with 5S and safety requirements.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Store, Quality, Shipping, and other teams to support production requirements.
• Highlight production bottlenecks, safety concerns, quality issues, or improvement opportunities to the supervisor.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
