Job summary

Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an assembler to support the preparation, assembly, and testing of actuators and spare kits. You will follow engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure products meet safety and quality standards while hitting daily production targets.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work across models in a busy, high‑mix environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical manuals.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of quality control and ability to identify product defects.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a high‑mix, low‑volume environment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble actuators and spare kits according to drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Perform assembly and testing across different product models to meet daily production targets and customer delivery schedules.
• Inspect components and assembled products, identifying and reporting defects or deviations from specifications.
• Support component picking, material preparation, labelling and packing to maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workplace by following 5S and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Stores, QA and Shipping to support production and delivery requirements.
• Promptly report production issues, material shortages and safety hazards to the supervisor.
