Job summary

Emerson is seeking a hands-on assembler to build actuators and spare kits, and to test across multiple product models. The role supports a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment, with emphasis on following drawings, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

You will work closely with production teams and must be bilingual in Bahasa Melayu and English, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. Overtime and shift flexibility are required in this role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and tools.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and manuals.
• Capable of switching tasks in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble actuators and spare kits per drawings and specs.
• Assemble and test across product models to meet output.
• Perform component picking, staging, labeling, and packing.
• Ensure all work meets Emerson quality standards and identify defects.
• Maintain clean, safe workplace per 5S and safety rules.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Store, Quality, Shipping teams.
• Highlight bottlenecks, safety concerns, quality issues, or improvements to supervisor.
• Perform other production-related duties as required.
