Job summary

FWD TIM Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Actuarial Specialist to lead centralised modelling services for multiple BUs, including Prophet modelling and IFRS17 implementation. You will coordinate end-to-end projects and ensure governance and timely delivery of complex actuarial models.

The role demands strong Prophet modelling skills, knowledge of USGAAP/EV, and international actuarial standards, with the potential for travel to other markets as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 to 6 years insurance experience in actuarial functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
• Nearly fellowship member of an internationally recognised actuarial body.

Responsibilities

• Be the project lead and manage end-to-end major actuarial projects.
• Provide centralised modelling services and maintain ALS model for asset and liability management.
• Analyse modelling results, perform validation, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Group Model Governance policy and documentation.
