FWD TIM in Kuala Lumpur is offering an internship in Actuarial services, focusing on Prophet modelling and centralised actuarial model maintenance for local units. You will support the TIM ACT Service Desk and bridge communication between business units and external parties.

The role suits Actuarial Science students (2nd/final year preferred) with strong Excel and analytical skills, good English, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Actuarial Science students or mathematics/statistics majors.
• Preferably 2nd/Final year in Actuarial Science.
• Proficient in Excel and modelling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing Prophet modelling services to local business units within FWD Group.
• Assist on development and maintenance of the centralised Actuarial models for local business units within FWD Group.
• Assist in independent spreadsheet development to check the logic performed in Prophet model.
• Assist in model validation by performing bridging analysis and regression test.
• Assist in DCS checks and development.
• Provide support to local business units within FWD Group via TIM ACT Service Desk.
• Actively communicate and solve issues raised by local business units.
• Act as an intermediary between local business units and external parties.
• Assist the team in performing ad-hoc actuarial related tasks.
