Allianz Malaysia is seeking an actuarial professional to ensure timely and accurate regional financial reporting, including IFRS17 and Value of New Business, while driving quality improvements in financial information.

The role focuses on risk identification, controls, and collaboration with actuarial teams to support sustainable growth and regulatory compliance in Malaysia. Strong analytical skills, communication, and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Postgraduate in Actuarial studies
• Candidates with 2 to 7 years of Actuarial Valuation related work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High learning agility and work efficiency
• Good verbal, written and communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong drive for success
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of reporting to feedback results achieved and to highlight areas at risk to ensure sustainable growth. Accountable for Allianz Group Reporting including Value of New Business and IFRS17, modelling, experience studies, among other.
• Prepare business plans to identify key risk areas and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
• Support organizational transformation by strengthening actuarial controls and processes to achieve target productivity.
• Keep track and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
• To lead and develop actuarial staffs to improve technical know-how of the Department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
