Job summary

FWD TIM, located in Kuala Lumpur, seeks an actuarial professional to maintain and enhance the IFRS17 CSM model for multiple business units. The role supports actuarial initiatives and projects under Group Actuarial governance, requiring strong modelling skills and cross‑functional collaboration.

3–5 years of insurance actuarial experience and progress in professional exams are preferred; knowledge of IFRS17 and Prophet is advantageous. Travel flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years insurance experience in actuarial functions.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Actuarial Science or other Mathematics/Statistics based major.
• Good progress in internationally recognised actuarial professional examinations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the FWD Centralised IFRS17 CSM model across all business units, ensuring quality and on‑time delivery.
• Provide guidance to junior team members in their daily tasks.
• Collaborate with Group Actuarial and business units to deliver requests within the agreed scope.
• Ensure all work complies with Group policies and controls and maintain proper documentation.
