Job summary

FWD TIM in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Actuarial professional to coordinate centralised modelling services, lead major projects, and ensure compliance with Group Model Governance.

You will provide advanced Prophet modelling, support ALM and IFRS17 initiatives, and review changes for HK, TH, JP BUs while guiding juniors.

5–6 years in insurance actuarial work, Bachelor's in Actuarial Science, and progression towards fellowship are preferred; travel flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in actuarial science or related field with strong mathematical foundations.
• Fellowship progress desirable and relevant actuarial credentials.
• Experience in centralised modelling and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate centralised modelling services for business units and manage end-to-end projects.
• Perform advanced Prophet modelling checks and document results for stakeholders.
• Review models and validation results to identify risks and action plans.
• Lead actuarial initiatives including ALM, IFRS17, and regulatory reporting.
