Job summary

AIA Shared Services in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned IT Operations leader to drive Active Directory and identity services across the region. You will guide a team of AD administrators and support engineers to ensure high availability, security, and alignment with business needs.

The role emphasizes incident management, IAM controls, cloud directory familiarity, and collaboration with infra and security teams to optimize configurations and meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial position with regional coverage.
• Hands-on experience with position-related technical components.
• Equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience allowed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AD administrators and support engineers to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory Services, including domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and CA.
• Act as an escalation point for Active Directory-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Active Directory, including privileged access management and audit policies.
• Monitor AD performance, analyze trends, and collaborate with infrastructure and security to optimize configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate, select, and implement AD-related tools and technologies.
• Develop and manage the related budget and allocate resources effectively for projects.
