Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking an Identity & Access Management Operations Lead in Kuala Lumpur to direct regional IAM, PAM, and directory services. You will manage high-volume identity workflows, establish governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering and security.

The role requires 10+ years in IT with IAM exposure, strong stakeholder management, and experience with SailPoint IIQ, Entra ID, Active Directory, and BeyondTrust tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in IT with experience in IAM or related areas.
• Minimum of 5+ years implementing and supporting enterprise IAM solutions or related environments including Active Directory, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud / IIQ, BeyondTrust Password Safe / Privileged Remote Access, and Entra ID.
• Minimum of 5+ years developing technical strategies, architecture, and roadmaps.
• 5+ years of leading global operations teams.
• Understanding of audit and compliance requirements and processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional operational teams responsible for IAM, PAM, directory services, and related cybersecurity tools.
• Ensure reliable execution of high-volume identity processes such as access requests, provisioning, and recertification.
• Act as primary escalation point for operational issues and drive service health and uptime.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance activities with security policies.
• Manage platforms like SailPoint ISC/IIQ, Entra ID, Active Directory, BeyondTrust tools, PKI, LDAP, and ADFS.
• Develop automation to reduce manual effort and build operational dashboards.
• Lead regionally distributed teams and coordinate with global partners.
