Job summary

Turner & Townsend Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage project documents using Aconex for industrial and science sectors in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will set up folders, control drawing/naming conventions, and coordinate with the project team and vendors.

The role requires 3 years of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Aconex; Procore knowledge is a plus. You will contribute to maintaining compliant, high-quality project documentation.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience as document controller.
• Experience dealing with large-scale semiconductor/advanced manufacturing projects.
• Aconex system knowledge is essential.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong MS Office skills (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented, organized and multitasker.

Responsibilities

• Set up project folders, manage registries, and allocate document/drawing numbers.
• Liaise with project team and external parties to distribute information.
• Assist the Project Manager with documentation of instructions and vendor/contractor communications.
• Process and control all document types on a day-to-day basis with accuracy.
• Maintain quality documentation (drawings, RFIs, registers) and proper storage.
• File documents in physical and digital records and ensure confidentiality.
• Communicate changes to document control procedures to the team.
• Assist in implementing new document management systems and processes.
• Adhere to company and client documentation standards; maintain confidentiality.
