Job summary

Zebra Technologies seeks an Accounts Payables Supervisor in a hybrid work setting to lead a mid-sized AP team and own strategic AP processes. You will drive process improvements, mentor staff, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize efficiency and accuracy across regions.

You will spearhead KPI development, performance reviews, and benchmarking efforts while guiding the team through high-volume periods and complex workflows.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Process Ownership:Take full ownership of AP processes, documentation, and policies. Continuously seek and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Project Leadership: Lead and own strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Manage cross-functional and cross-regional projects, coordinating efforts and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to enhance AP processes and improve efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and strategically.
• Collaborative Support: Serve as an expert in the AP field, teaching and mentoring colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a collaborative environment within the team, ensuring seamless operations and providing strategic support during high-volume periods.
• KPI Management and Benchmarking: Foster the development and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the AP team. Conduct regular reviews of KPIs, challenging targets, and driving continuous improvement. Perform benchmarking to identify best practices and implement them within the AP function.
• Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership to the AP team, mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a positive and productive team environment, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement. Manage a mid-sized team, ensuring clear communication, effective delegation, and performance management.
• Flexibility: Perform other duties as assigned, leveraging its capabilities to support the team and company objectives. Adapt to changing priorities and take on ad-hoc tasks as required.
