Job summary

allnex is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Intern to join the GBS Finance team in Malaysia. You will gain hands-on experience in accounts payable processes and learn financial operations while being mentored by professionals.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, with strong Excel and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Available for a 6 months (or more) internship.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• High sense of responsibility and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
• Generate and process payments as necessary.
• Perform invoice and general ledger data entry.
• Execute accounts reconciliation.
• Support the company in optimizing financial transactions and systems.
• Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
• Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
• Follow internal policies and procedures on all tasks assigned.
