Job summary

TG Human Resource Management Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Payable professional for a permanent role in Malaysia. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day AP processing, payments, bank reconciliations and month-end closing, while supporting the Accounts Manager and internal audits.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accountancy degree, fresh graduate or 1–2 years' experience, fluent Mandarin in writing and speaking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day accounts payable and prepare payments (vendor invoices and travel & expense claims).
• AP month-end closing and reporting.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, ageing reports and statements.
• Maintain accounting ledgers and assist monthly closing.
• Assist Accounts Manager on administrative matters; support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and meet KPI targets.

• Perform day to day processing of account payable transactions and prepare payment (vendor invoices and employee travel & expense claims);
• AP month end closing and reporting in carrying out the responsibilities of AP department;
• Preparing bank reconciliations, ageing report and Statement of Accounts;
• Maintain accounting ledgers and assisting in monthly closing;
• Assist Accounts Manager on administrative matters;
• Support internal and external audit requirements;
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission and value, meet KPI target.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least university degree or above, major in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent;
• Fresh Graduate or 1 to 2 years of related working experience in finance and accounting role (mainly Account Payable process);
• Candidate must be well versed in Mandarin, written and oral;
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment, where the focus is to be progressive and aiming for continuous improvement;
• Good communication skills to handle internal communication across department;
• Willing to have OT during peak season;
• Have a continous learning mindset;
• Be responsible, deliver results under stress, and meet tight deadlines;
• Prefer candidates who can start in immediately, or latest by end of Feb/early Mar 2024.
