Job summary

LBS Bina Group Berhad is seeking an Accounts Payable Executive to support finance operations in Malaysia. The role involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely payments.

You'll handle payments, maintain records for audits and assist with weekly AR/AP reporting. Proactive problem-solving and strong MS Office skills are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience; experience in property development is an added advantage.
• Detailed and able to meet tight deadlines with strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in IFCA.net and SQL system will be an added advantage.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office software; good analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Entering and uploading transaction reports and invoices into company databases.
• Sorting, coding, matching and filing invoices, expense reports and transactions.
• Organizing creditor and vendor files and corresponding with vendors and creditors.
• Preparing and processing electronic payments, transfers and financial transactions.
• Processing incoming payments and accounts and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Evaluating reports and verifying discrepancies to finalize client payments.
• Maintaining records for auditing and tax reporting purposes.
• Perform bank reconciliation and payment records verification.
• Perform reconciliations for amounts received or invoices/PO/DO before payments.
• Prepare weekly reports on accounts receivable, aging, and unbilled amounts.
• Prepare weekly reports for payables, budgets, and operating expenses.
• Resolve discrepancies and follow up with collections.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job description

• Sorting, coding, matching and filing invoices, expense reports and complete and incomplete transactions
• Organizing and maintaining creditor and vendor files and corresponding with vendors and creditors
• Preparing and processing electronic payments, transfers and financial transactions
• Processing incoming payments and accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures
• Evaluating reports and verifying discrepancies to resolve client billing issues and to finalize client payments
• Maintaining accurate records and providing documentation for auditing and tax reporting purposes
• Perform bank reconciliation and payment records verification
• Perform various reconciliation for amount received or invoice/PO/DO before requesting for payment
• Prepare weekly reports on accounts receivable, aging and unbilled amount
• Prepare weekly reports for payable amount, budget (to manage liquidity) and operating expenses
• Resolve any discrepancies and ensure all clear
• Follow up with the collections from relevant parties
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution
