Job summary

DayOne, a global leader in data infrastructure, is seeking an Accounts Payable Executive to join our Finance team in Malaysia. You will manage end-to-end AP processes, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time in line with internal controls.

You will perform 3-way matching, reconcile vendor statements, liaise with vendors, and assist in month-end close. The role requires attention to detail and reliability in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in accounts payable or similar finance role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferred: SAP S4/HANA).
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims accurately and timely.
• Perform 3-way matching (purchase order, goods receipt, invoice) before processing payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or disputes.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors on payment-related queries.
• Assist in month-end closing activities including AP aging reports and accruals.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit purposes.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance AP efficiency.
