Job summary

BIT Official is seeking an experienced Expense Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to join the Group Accounting team. You will manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, accruals, and payments, while leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and data reporting.

The role requires strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Mandarin and English proficiency are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (required).
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee (review and process) employee claims and vendor payments using digital expense management systems and automated payment platforms.
• Perform reporting activities using financial software, dashboards, and advanced data tools.
• Ensure accruals accuracy and reasonableness; handle budget recording, reporting and analytics.
• Review processes and systems to meet business/operational needs; identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage AP automation technologies.
• Support Finance team with information requests and timely communication with stakeholders; assist with withholding tax forms; review expense reporting for closing.
