Job summary

JM Ching Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage daily AP transactions, verify invoices, and prepare payments while maintaining precise records. You will liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely processing and accurate documentation.

You will support month-end closing and ad-hoc accounting tasks, with fresh graduates welcome and opportunities for growth within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily Accounts Payable transactions and related documentation.
• Receive, verify and process supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Prepare payment vouchers and payment listings for management approval.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and entries in the system.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on documents or payments.
• File invoices, vouchers, journals and accounting records properly.
• Liaise with internal departments and suppliers on invoices and payments.
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting tasks.
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
