Roche is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst in Malaysia to manage day-to-day AP activities with a focus on compliance and financial controls. You will handle document processing, invoice validation, payment reconciliation, and month-end close while supporting audits and process improvements.

The role requires a degree in Finance/Accounting, proficiency in English and Japanese, and at least 2 years in transactional accounting within a global shared service environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Finance & Accounting or Commerce; professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese; business communication skills required.
• At least 2 years in transactional accounting within a performance-driven environment.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/accounting systems; shared service center exposure is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Receive, sort, verify, and archive AP documents; handle exceptions and scanning.
• Validate and process PO and non-PO invoices, prepayments, and down payments.
• Review supplier open items before executing payments; resolve queries within timelines.
• Perform month-end closing activities and generate KPIs and operational reports.
• Reconcile AP balance sheet accounts and support audits and process improvements.
