Donaldson Filtration (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. invites an Accounts Payable Accountant who speaks Spanish to join our Finance Shared Services Centre in Malaysia.

You will support Spanish-speaking vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring invoices and related transactions are processed accurately and on time. In this high-volume role, you will work in a multinational environment, maintaining data integrity in ERP, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, or shared services centre.
• Knowledge of invoice processing, PO/non-PO transactions, vendor reconciliation and AP controls.
• Fluent or strong proficiency in Spanish, written and spoken.
• Good working proficiency in English.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of PO and non-PO invoices accurately within SLAs.

Accounts Payable Accountant (Spanish Speaker)

The Associate Accountant II – Accounts Payable (Spanish Speaking) is responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant Accounts Payable services within Donaldson's Finance Shared Services Centre. The role supports Spanish-speaking vendors and internal stakeholders, with particular focus on Latin American and other designated markets, while ensuring invoices, vendor accounts and related transactions are processed in accordance with established service levels, financial controls, company policies and applicable accounting requirements. This position requires a strong customer-service mindset, sound Accounts Payable knowledge, effective problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate professionally in both Spanish and English in a high-volume, multicultural shared-services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process high volumes of PO and non-PO invoices accurately and within agreed service-level and operational timelines.
• Perform invoice validation, including supplier information, purchase order details, approvals, tax information, supporting documentation and other required transaction data.
• Conduct PO invoice matching and identify exceptions such as quantity, price, receipt, coding or approval discrepancies; coordinate resolution with the appropriate business stakeholders.
• Review non-PO invoices for appropriate authorization, accounting information and supporting documentation before posting.
• Investigate and resolve invoice-processing exceptions, blocked or held invoices, duplicate-payment risks and other Accounts Payable discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations, identify outstanding invoices, credits and unmatched transactions, and follow through to closure.
• Respond professionally to vendor and internal stakeholder enquiries in Spanish and English, providing clear status updates and appropriate resolution within established response timelines.
• Maintain accurate supplier and transaction information in the ERP environment in accordance with approved procedures, segregation-of-duties requirements and internal controls.
• Support payment-related activities by ensuring invoices are properly recorded, validated and ready for scheduled payment processing.
• Support month-end and period-end closing activities, including review of outstanding transactions, reconciliations, accrual-related inputs and resolution of aged items where applicable.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, accounting operations or a Shared Services Centre environment.
• Practical knowledge of invoice processing, PO/non-PO transactions, vendor reconciliation and Accounts Payable controls.
• Fluent or strong professional proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate confidently with vendors and business stakeholders.
• Good working proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for day-to-day SSC communication, documentation and collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and data quality.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented approach.
• Good analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
