Job summary

SDP Packaging Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Accounts Manager to oversee daily accounting operations across AP/AR, banking, and FX contracts. The role includes month-end close, cost analysis, and liaison with auditors.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g., LCCI or ACCA).
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience with SAP or other ERP accounting software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update daily accounting operations including bank balance updates and AP/AR activities.
• Oversee bank guarantee renewals, LC applications, and coordinate fund transfers.
• Prepare month-end management reports and cost analysis for audit purposes.
