About the role Join the dynamic team at Fook Loi Corporation (Sabah) Sdn Bhd as an Account Officer based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in maintaining the company's financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations.

What you'll be doing

Accurately processing and recording financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

Reconciling bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of financial records

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and other accounting documents

Providing support to the finance team in various administrative tasks

Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address financial queries and resolve issues

What we're looking for

Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field

At least 2-3 years of experience in an accounts officer or similar role, preferably in the Accounting industry

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with accounting principles, procedures, and regulations
