Job summary

RIMBUN GROUP RESOURCES BERHAD is seeking an Accounts & Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations. You will record transactions, prepare journal entries, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and tax requirements.

The role requires collaboration with management, auditors, tax agents, suppliers, customers, and banks to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance is preferred.
• Experience in full-set accounts, AP, AR, bank reconciliation and financial reporting is preferred.
• Experience with accounting software and Excel is required.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions and maintain accurate entries.
• Prepare and process journal entries, vouchers, receipts, invoices and other documents.
• Process supplier invoices, payment requests and related documentation; verify invoices against PO and DOs; prepare payment vouchers.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare online banking transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and monitor cash balances.
