Job summary

Lotus Essential Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to support daily accounting operations, treasury and cash management, with hands-on banking and cash-flow monitoring. You will handle AP/AR/GL and journal entries, assist in month-end close, and prepare reports for management and audit.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Treasury or related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience with exposure to treasury or cash management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, payment processing, cash flow monitoring and banking transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required due to interactions with Mandarin-speaking management and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR, GL and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare schedules, reports and supporting documents for management and audit purposes.
• Monitor daily cash balances and bank transactions.
• Prepare and process payments, fund transfers and banking transactions.
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly cash flow reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Liaise with banks on account matters, payment issues and banking documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial and treasury reports.
