Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or MIA membership is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in property development.
• External audit experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in Group Consolidation, including consolidation statements.
• Strong understanding of project accounting and MFRS reporting requirements.

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly consolidated accounts and financial reports.
• Manage all financial functions including preparation of financial statements, management reports, budgets, project costing, and financial analysis per MFRS and statutory requirements.
• Assist in preparation and monitoring of group and project budgets with variance analysis.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital management, and financing needs including bank liaison.
• Supervise day-to-day Accounts Department operations and staff.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and regulatory authorities; coordinate with internal departments.
• Review and improve accounts and finance processes; implement internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare timely and accurate monthly consolidated accounts and financial reports.

Manage all financial and accounting functions, including the preparation of financial statements, management reports, budgets, project costing, and financial analysis, in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), statutory requirements, and standard accounting practices.

Assist in the preparation and monitoring of group and project-specific budgets, performing variance analysis to support effective cost control and enhance project efficiency.

Oversee cash flow, working capital management, and financing needs, including cash projections, treasury operations, and liaison with financial institutions.

Supervise and guide the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department, including oversight of a team of accounting staff.

Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and regulatory authorities, as well as internal departments.

Continuously review and improve accounts & finance processes, ensuring effective implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or membership with MIA is an added advantage.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity within the Property Development industry.

Candidates with external audit experience will be an added advantage

Candidates must have hands-on experience in Group Consolidation, including preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.

Strong understanding of project accounting, Housing Development Act (HDA) compliance, and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) reporting requirements.

Proficient in accounting software; experience with IFCA is highly preferred.

Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
