Job summary

Keisha Marine Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated Accounts Executive to join our Finance Department and support the day-to-day accounting operations in Malaysia.

The role involves bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits support, and meticulous record-keeping, with strong Excel and AutoCount skills. 1–3 years of experience preferred; Mandarin is advantageous for liaising with overseas clients.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a similar accounting role.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting; Professional qualifications are an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin would be an added advantage for liaising with overseas clients.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate daily transactions, ledgers, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, e-invoice, cash and vendor account reconciliations.
• Compliance & Audits: Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, local tax and accounting standards.
• Records: Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
• Cash Flow: Monitor cash positions and assist in cost-control strategies.
• Others: Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
