Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome; ACCA/CIMA candidates encouraged.
• Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a team.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills; Mandarin an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities within deadlines.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, and follow up on discrepancies.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and record asset additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Assist in intercompany reconciliations and resolving differences with relevant parties.
• Review supporting documents to ensure transactions are properly recorded, supported and approved.
• Prepare financial schedules, management reports and explanations of account movements.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for closing information.
• Prepare documents for external audits and tax submissions.
• Maintain organized accounting records and comply with procedures and internal controls.
