Job summary

MSIB Corporate Consultancy Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail‑oriented Account Assistant with a Degree in Accountancy and at least 1 year of related experience. You must be proficient with MYOB and MS Office, and Bahasa Malaysia is required with English as a plus.

Responsibilities include preparation of full sets of management accounts in line with MFRS, IFRS and MPERS, managing client portfolios, liaising with auditors, and delivering tasks on time in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in related field
• Proficient with MYOB Accounting Software and MS Office
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia required; English considered as added value
• Able to work under supervision, under pressure and multi-tasking
• Good attitude and motivated

Responsibilities

• Preparation of full sets of management accounts in accordance to MFRS, IFRS, MPERS and other applicable standards
• Responsible for portfolio of clients for various industries with particular deadlines
• Perform other accounting duties when assigned
• Liaise with client, auditor and other external party
• Liaise and report to manager and/or partner on progress of work and report on critical issues
• Undertake special assignments on ad-hoc basis
