SRI PGB ENGINEERING SDN BHD, a construction company based in Melaka, is seeking an Accounts Executive (Full Set Accounts) to independently manage full accounting functions including AP, AR, and general ledger. The role requires handling monthly and yearly closings, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports while ensuring accuracy of records.

The candidate should have a diploma or degree in accounting/finance with at least 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in SQL

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SQL Accounting and Microsoft Excel.
• Construction industry experience is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle full set accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Complete monthly and yearly closing and prepare financial reports (P/L and balance sheets).
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier/customer statements.
• Verify supplier invoices and subcontractor claims; prepare payment vouchers and payment schedules.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments; prepare cash flow forecasts and project P/L reports.
• Maintain accurate records in SQL Accounting and filing of supporting documents.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents.

• Independently handle full set accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
• Complete monthly and yearly closing and prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier and customer statements
• Verify supplier invoices and subcontractor claims, and prepare payment vouchers and payment schedules
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and project profit and loss reports
• Maintain accurate records in SQL Accounting and ensure proper filing of supporting documents
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents

About you
