Job summary

GEST HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Executive to support financial operations in TTDI, Kuala Lumpur.

This full-time role will involve maintaining financial records, processing receivable/payable transactions, and assisting with month-end and year-end closes. We require a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, strong accounting knowledge, proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, and excellent communication skills in Malay, English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounts executive or financial accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to speak and write in Malay, English and Mandarin languages to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. Degree, Diploma or Part Professional or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Provide support for the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and timely.
• Comply with all relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
