Job summary

GT-MAX MOTORS (M) SDN BHD is seeking an accounting professional to handle full set of accounts and generate reports. You will manage end-to-end financial processes, perform month-end close, reconcile balance sheets, and provide financial insights to management.

The role requires 1 year of accounting experience, proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a basic knowledge of MS Office; SQL skills are a plus. Based in Kapar, Klang area with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Finance/Accounting (or related field)
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Familiar with SQL software is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and generate relevant reports
• Control and manage end-to-end financial processes including collections, payments, monthly close and balance sheet reconciliation
• Provide and interpret monthly financial information and operating reports to Management
• Ensure accounting systems, practices, controls and procedures comply with company policy
• Ensure all accounting records are updated and reconciled in the accounting system
• Liaise with Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agent, Legal, Bankers, etc.
• Assist on ad-hoc tasks as required by other departments
