Job summary

GT-MAX Motors invites applications for an accounting role based at our Kapar Bestari, Klang HQ. The successful candidate will handle the full set of accounts, prepare reports and support monthly closes with accuracy and timeliness. You should have a Finance/Accounting degree, at least 1 year of accounting experience, and strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and generate relevant reports.
• Control and manage end-to-end financial processes including collections, payments, monthly close activities and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Provide and interpret monthly financial information and operating reports to the Management.
• Ensure all accounting systems, practices, controls and procedures are fully compliant with company policy.
• Ensure all accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system.
• Liaise with Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agent, Legal, Bankers and others.
• Assist on any ad-hoc tasks required by other departments.
• Familiar with SQL Software will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

• Proficient in oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin advantaged)
• Computer literacy in basic Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
