Job summary

Celmonze in Malaysia's Selangor is seeking an experienced accountant to lead end-to-end accounting, from documentation to financial and reconciliation reports. You will prepare monthly full sets of accounts with accuracy, manage AR/AP, and liaise with tax agents, auditors, and regulators.

Proficiency in Mandarin is required to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders; the role demands working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a senior role.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of accounting from documentation through to financial and reconciliation reports.
• Prepare monthly full sets of accounts with accuracy and confidence.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, staying on top of overdue and ageing reports.
• Ensure all accounting records and systems comply with accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors, and regulatory bodies where your expertise will be front and centre.
• Take on ad-hoc projects to keep the role dynamic and varied.

What You'll Be Doing

What You Bring to the Table

• A Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting


• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a senior accounting role


• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without breaking a sweat


• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with our Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
