Job summary

SGS Testing & Control Services Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to join our finance team. Successful candidates will be assigned to one primary finance stream (AR, AP or GL) based on experience and business needs and will perform core accounting tasks accordingly.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting/Finance, 2–5 years’ experience in Accounts/Finance Operations, and strong communication with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in Accounts/Finance Operations, with exposure to month-end closing activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (able to work with Business Units and suppliers).
• Experience with Oracle ERP is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Support AR transactions such as receipts posting and AR journals.
• Perform AR reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support AP transactions and monitor payables ageing.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing activities and reporting.
