Job summary

SGS Testing & Control Services Singapore is seeking finance professionals to join one primary stream (AR, AP or GL) based on experience and business needs. You will perform responsibilities such as AR receipts posting, AP payables, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, with exposure to month-end closing.

This role requires a Diploma in Accounting/Finance and 2–5 years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in Accounts/ Finance Operations, with exposure to month-end closing activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (able to work with Business Units and suppliers).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high volumes, competing priorities, and tight month-end timelines.
• Experience with Oracle ERP is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Support AR transactions such as receipts posting and AR journals.
• Perform AR reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support monthly AR reporting and variance analysis.
• Support AP transactions and monitor payables ageing.
• Maintain accurate supplier records where required.
• Resolve supplier and internal queries in a timely manner.
• Prepare and post journal entries for GL.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reconciliations.
• Support audit requirements and internal controls.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve finance matters.
