Job summary

Lee Kum Kee seeks an Accounts Executive to manage accounts payable and assist in full-set accounts. You will process payments, reconcile vendor statements, prepare monthly reports, and support internal stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 2 years’ experience, proficiency in Excel and SAP S/4HANA is a plus, and familiarity with AI/automation tools. The contract term is 12 months and Malaysia-based.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CPA/CIMA pursuing are welcomed.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Exposure to AI tools and automation solutions is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work under a 12 months' contract term.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounts payable of companies and involvement in full set accounts.
• Process payments accurately, on time and in compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items.
• Prepare A&P monthly spending and claim status report from RBDF system.
• Manage approval flow within RBDF to ensure approval within delegated authority level.
• Prepare and post accounting journals.
• Check and process Goods-in-transit and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements and management accounts.
• Prepare and check bank reconciliations and cash flow grouping schedules.
• Prepare monthly e-Invoice, withholding tax submissions and monthly survey returns.
• Assist in audits and the preparation of audit schedules and statutory reports.
• Participate in mid-year and year-end stock counts and fixed asset counts.
• Provide financial and accounting support to internal stakeholders.
• Assist in process improvements and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
