COSHARE HOLDINGS BERHAD in Kota Damansara, Selangor, is seeking an Account Executive to join our full-time accounting team. You will manage client accounts, ensure accurate financial records, and support bookkeeping operations across our services.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to liaise with clients to gather required documentation. Malaysian tax knowledge and ACCA/LCCI qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Generate financial reports and statements for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation as required.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide accounting support.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records through analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security for client information.

About the role
We are seeking an Account Executive to join COSHARE HOLDINGS BERHAD in Kota Damansara, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional accounting and bookkeeping services to our clients. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and providing comprehensive support across our accounting operations. This role is fundamental to maintaining the highest standards of service quality and building strong, lasting relationships with our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records for assigned client accounts using accounting software and systems

Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and trial balances on a regular basis

Process invoices, expense claims, and payment transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures

Liaise with clients to gather necessary financial documentation and information required for bookkeeping tasks

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments

Generate accurate financial reports and statements for clients and internal stakeholders

Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation as required

Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide support on accounting-related matters

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records through thorough investigation and analysis

Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security when handling sensitive client financial information

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar financial role

Strong proficiency in accounting software and systems, with experience using cloud-based platforms preferred

Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, practices, and financial management fundamentals

Excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy when working with financial data

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applications

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues

Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements is highly advantageous

Professional qualification such as ACCA, LCCI, or similar accounting certification is preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
